Yes danic patrick has made indy car history by being the first female to win the The Indy 300 Japan, she beat two-time Indy 500 winner Helio Castroneves by almost six seconds!!!.. You may remember that OJ Interviewed the Andretti Green Racing driver (michael andretti sure knows how to pick em) last summer in San Francisco before shooting a Go Daddy ad with Candice Michelle. Danika Patrick herself a tv veteran has being in several Go Daddy commercials as well as featuring in Sports illustrated, FHM , Maxim and is constantly voted one of the sexiest women out there. But Danica Patrick has not appeared naked, done racy photos or exposed herself like many other sexy girls who come high in theses polls. Why cause to put it in simple man terms dannica patrick is a hot chick, who races very fast cars and wins.

Despite a tough indy car racing schedule Danika Patrick exposed herself to OJ ( not physically guys but verbally!!) in our interview with her which we did at the infineon raceway track in the napa valley.

Personally I thought that danica patrik was really cool, easy going and friendly to talk to….as with many stars its the ‘people’ around them who have the attitude!!

And as our soundman said she’s intelligent and a great racing driver but well sexy that danika patrick!!..funnily enough no he wasn’t English but pure yankee..odd sprouting cockney lingo like that..oh well I guess sexy women who drive fast cars have that effect on men. Not our OJ though he was professional to the end and got to race a a big engined, hot rod, muscle indy car (well not really he sat in the rear seat!! but still an awesome experience.)

Part of my job on the Eleventh commandment is too bake lovely cakes, I also have to trawl the internet looking for things that fascinate, intrigue or indeed disgust me, so we can continue our year long mission seeking out new and un-interviewed internet life forms. To boldly go where no internet TV show has gone before. Or something like that.

And my trawling has come across something of such beauty that I wanted to cry. Although the fact that I was creased up with both laughter and funny feeling that I can’t quite put my finger on I had to make do with guffawing my tea all over my computer screen.

Well this is a technical post not a highbrow philosophowhatical (is that how you spell it?)one that OJ is akin to writing on his own blog..Yes as well as writing on here he does also write on his blog..why because he’s special and has two blogs…the show one and his own (which isn’t bad by the way)..

Anyhow that’s not what this post was about..its about Editing in Final Cut Pro in HDV..it’s a massively slow process..any effects and well you’ve got time to go Cornwall have a quick surf and still get back in time to watch the last ten minutes of rendering..

Why are we editing in HDV (it is only an online show after all) because Itunes and various other outlets are screaming for HD content.. We’ve done three shows so far in HD , its taken literally three times as long to edit each..and the total views and downloads for our HD shows has been…wait for it…18 people..Great, super, er no..so looking at ditching the HD version due to the time involved..

So why am I writing here..in case anyone who may stumble upon this little blog might know a really good way to edit in HD in Final Cut Pro, quickly!!..we’ve got some pretty fast machines all specked out ..so not sure if its a hardware issue why they are so slow..

I know this may sound like a lazy man’s way to get technical help..and there are quite a few articles on the net on the subject ..but most are confusing go off on loads of tangents etc etc..

So anyone with some quick fire advice please do drop us a comment or line..

Anyhow back to editing the next show which is on Landboarding, yup OJ got to fly some power kites (like the Ozone Frenzy) in Richmond Park …don’t expect big air and gnarly tricks though..the wind was light and OJ is Big..but he did face plant it!

You may or may have not heard but the Big man Himself ‘Oj the Bruiser Borg’ has recently taken up boxing. Yup for the past few months the Fast footed Maltese Butterfly has been down at Gymbox in Holborn training hard and mastering his jab n hook technique. So we recently sent him to go meet and interview Cathy “the Bitch” Brown at her health club The Third Space.

After some friendly chat he quickly learns that she isn’t the u.k’s first female boxing champion for nothing. Can he squeeze in an interview before we have to call an Ambulance? heres the show

It certainly is. James “why are you always late” Bedford was…. wait for it…. late for todays shoot! Wahooooooo. He’ll try and palm off that he was on time but my watch was right on the money! Admittedly we were supposed to meet at Titan comics office at 12 and he was there at 12.02, but it’s the principal of the matter that counts here. He reckons that he was ill, or something. his only reason for coming so says the directorial one was the fact that I would have taken the piss for him not turning up. which I would have one, cause I’m doing it for arriving 2 minutes late!

Mucho gracias goes to the guys at Titan Comics , especially Steve White, who fielded my geeky questions about Rogue Trooper and has agreed to put my face into one of the upcoming issues of Transformers (probably getting crushed under the boot of Megatron) That should be up on the site in about 3 weeks so peepers peeled!

As for sick boy James, I’m sure he’ll get well soon, he’s on holiday skiing next week!

January 2008!! what can I say due to OJ’s hyper busy TV and radio schedule we haven’t managed to get any shoots done this month! But we have a pretty good line up for February including an interview with a pro Landboarder/ kiteboarder, a female boxer, a female beat boxer, Mr Testicle himself (the famous balls behind male testicular cancer awareness), the bar wizards (www.barwizards.net) and some pro skateboaders so should be sweet.

But we have been given a Nokia N810 Internet Tablet to review and we like it! I had a shoot up in Rutland last weekend and on the Great Western Railway I was able to get online just like I would at home. Pretty cool.

Great end to 2007 Oj and I went to gorgeous Milton Keynes for a spot of indoor sky diving at the Airkix center (www.airkix.com). What a laugh and for a change it wasnt just another ‘oj day out’ but I got to have a go to..:)

We did get a parking ticket because although we bought a ticket someone who shall remain nameless didnt put it on the dash board!!

The shoot was pretty straight forward, no problems with the sat nav this time, though holding onto the camera in the air vacum type thingy where you fly was pretty touch and go and it almost went flying..

The funny thing which the camera didnt pick up was that you dribble loads for some reason…something to do with all that air..

The dudes there were really cool and adam the european freestyle champ was awesome to watch in the air..check out the show to see him in action..

Next week we go paint balling and I can already tell you OJ gets shot up haha
